Scope and Content:

This collection of sound recordings is varied in scope and content, ranging from sermons and lectures to proceedings of the General Assembly. It also includes tapes of some church services, memorial services, interviews, and major events and conferences. Topics and contexts include: morning prayers from Appleton Chapel at Harvard University, civil rights, capital punishment, spirituality and morality, and the contemporary state and history of Unitarian Universalism. Some tapes have instrumental and/or vocal music performances. Of special interest may be lectures by Huston Smith, James Luther Adams, and a sermon by Dana McLean Greeley.
