Peace Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Through its fifty years of ministry in Wayland, Peace has been a training site for many divinity students and seminarians.
Opportunities for Student Involvement:
Students will design a coherent learning plan that matches their goals with opportunities that include, but are not limited to: suburban agriculture through the congregation’s community gardens, Two-Fields Farm, A Place to Turn food pantry and other agencies; spirituality of nature, Sudbury Valley Trustees and the Audubon Society; support for homeless families through Family Promise Metrowest; arts administration through Wayland Community Arts; interfaith dialogue through the programs of the Wayland Clergy Association.
A student without a car may take the commuter rail to Lincoln or Natick Station, or the T to Alewife, and take an Uber or arrange for a ride from members of the congregation.

The pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Wayland is the primary and general supervisor. A committee comprised of members of Peace Lutheran Church will meet regularly with the student for support and evaluation.
