Organization Description:
WHCC is a large, multi-staff church in an affluent suburb. The student would be expected to lead worship alongside three other ordained clergy. The student would have opportunities to work with our youth program, faith formation programs, and service/outreach ministries. The most valuable part of the student’s experience would be in learning how to lead a congregation in the 21st century. The student would also be expected to reflect theologically on their experiences.
Opportunities for Student Involvement:
In addition to working with the supervisor, the student will work with the two full-time associate ministers as well as having two members of the board of Deacons to support them. If issues arise with the supervisor or student, the others involved in the setting will work to resolve the issue through a process that will be outlined and approved before the supervision begins.
Commute/Transportation Information:
Travel expenses are open to discussion with the prospective student.

Supervision:
Supervision will be with the Senior Minister of the congregation.
