Organization Description:

Faith Lutheran Church is the home and sponsor of Faith Kitchen, a community meals program for hungry people that serves great and plentiful meals to over sixty people twice a month. The program is co-managed by members of Faith and the nearby synagogue, Temple Beth Shalom. Guests and cooks prepare and eat meals together. Meals are prepared primarily by volunteers; great local restaurants make entrees about once a month. Food comes from the Greater Boston Food Bank, local bakeries, and Food for Free. You can learn more about Faith Kitchen at Faith Kitchen is also the convener of the informal association of local soup kitchens.
